Fun Facts about Arctic Wolfs




 The Arctic wolf is found in most northern parts of the wolf's range in the Arctic Circle.

Living in the Arctic Circle, the Arctic Wolf spends five out of twelve months in total darkness.

Arctic wolves eat, Carnivore, Musk oxen, Peary caribou, Arctic foxes, ptarmigan, lemmings, seals, nesting birds, and Arctic hares.

Some predators and threats of the Arctic Wolf are Polar Bears, other wolves, and humans.

Arctic Wolves have a very thick insulating coat.

  Their scientific name is Canis lupus arctos.
